The Hour will come there is no doubt, and God will raise those who are in the graves. Quran: 22:7
A day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down, a Grand descent. Quran:25:25

The world may end because of earthquakes, tsunami, meteor strike, nuclear war, supernova, and some other natural or man
made disaster. These are however just local ends that have nothing to do with The Day of Judgment. End will also not happen on any
arbitrary date like December 2012. The end of the universe is an entirely different phenomenon that is built into the laws of the
universe by the creator. The contraction of the universe with reversal of time and gravity will commence the beginning of the end
which will last for thousands and possibly millions of years. We will be removed from the regressing effects of reversed time as we
come back alive in our own time. We will the be taken across many dimensions to beyond this universe. A beautiful natural
mechanism that is based on the laws of physics will cause all that to happen. This real end has nothing to do with wishful thinking and
predictions of priests or shamans.

"THE PHYSICS OF THE DAY OF JUDGMENT" is based on the concept that the expansion of the universe (space) is the
cause of the “phenomenon of time.” If this is true then the universe will “appear” to be expanding faster as we try to measure the
expansion rate of the universe with our present slowing time. This anomaly of faster expansion was discovered by two groups of
astronomers in 1998.  Unaware that our time could be slowing, the physicists are now trying to explain this surprising finding by some
undiscovered property of space or repulsive force that may make the universe expand faster. There are however a
group of
physicists  who believe that this is just due to slowing of our time.

In this article I will explore the similarities between the Quranic description of The Day of Judgment and theories of
cosmology that predict reversal of time in the future.  This concept is also present in the Bible,  details however are given in the
numerous verses in the Quran.
